Cheesecake

When I was looking for some recipes I found an interesting cheesecake.
I decided to make a cheesecake for a classmate's birthday so I'm going to write it and explain how you can do it.

The most important are the ingredients:
·cheese spread terrine
·3 eggs
·3 natural yogurts
·3 tablespoons flour
·10-12 tablespoons sugar

Preparation: turn the oven to 200º. Mix In a bowl all the ingredients and beat it until it is well dissolved and no lumps
Smear the pan with butter and pour the mixture. You can put it in the oven and lower temperature to 170º for baking.
In 20 or 25 minutes it will be ready, use the
Toothpick trick, click on the cake and if it comes out clean, turn the oven off and leave two more minutes.
Then let it cool out of the oven and the into the fridge.

You can decorate the cheesecake with strawberry jam or whatever, it wil give to the cheesecake a taste particularly good.

Living here!

I'm from Valencia and I'm living in Castellon. As it is the first year in college I'm not in a flat so I live in a hall of residence with another hundred of students. It is not the hall of residence which is near from the UJI, it is at the heart of the city. Living here is something nice and I'm totally or almost free for do whatever I want. People are happy and friendly and every night is a show. We all are always laughing in some room.
Although there are bad thing such as the timing of meals.
-Breakfast time is from 7:00 to 9:30
-To have lunch we have from 14:00 to 16:00
-Dinner from 20:00 to 21:30

I don't usually eat in my house at these hours so it is odd for me. Neither we can eat what we want, only what there is cooked for us in the dinning room. So if one day i want to eat a cheesecake or an ice cream or a salad I just can't.
The hall of residence that is in the UJI has a little kitchen and you can cook and also have tickets to the university dining room. I think that this is pretty good but it is also more expensive.
I think that the solution is to go to a classmate's flat and cook there if I want to eat something special or make pancakes or 'torrijas' for them.
Last day, before a linguistic class, a classmate brought us a cheesecake made by him. It was delicious and we spoke about meet one day and cook and bake something.
I should look for some recipes to be prepared.
Well I'm smelling our meal and I'm hungry so I'm going to have lunch.

Vitiligo

Eight months ago, I discovered an illness called vitiligo. It is a skin disorder in which smooth whitish patches appear on the skin.
There are a lot of famous people with this sickness like Michael Jackson, Juan y Medio or Thomas Lee.
The most affected are the black people because the white spots are more visible. That is why personalities like Michael Jackson have been criticized.
People thought that he was tired of his dark skin and he turned it into white skin with chemical products and plastic surgery. So he was called racist and a many people complained about him (I have to include myself).
Thus Michael Jackson had a hard life empty of work, hate and fans.

Series as movies

Since a few years ago a wave of series is overrunning our televisions.
The fact is that these series are so good and are attracting to people to this new "boom". Because of that many script writers are improving their own works and creating new and better ideas for series.
A new exigent public is growing up and every day the work is harder to satisfy all of us.
In these times of crisis this is a good new for the industry. Some managers are making good use of it when they saw the big chance. They are almost like movies due to their quality.

The most of the good ones series come from The United States. There film series like heroes, lost, the sopranos, true blood...
I don't want to despise our series but nowadays Spain is a producer of "trash TV" like Big Brother, "Mujeres y hombres y viceversa" or "Sálvame" that are contaminating our society. It is true that are good series like "7 vidas" or "Cuéntame" and older as "Verano azul" that have a clear message for me: "enjoy your life and overcome the difficulties."
By the other hand the present message is something like: "get famous doing whatever it takes" or "if you are handsome you can do everything ."

Well, surely The United States has series like these but nowadays, in general, are better.

I am going to give an example of that with a description of ones:

-HEROES: is an American science fiction television drama series created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006. The series tells the stories of ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities, and how these abilities take effect in the characters lives. The series emulates the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books, using short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing.
Three complete seasons have aired, and the fourth premiered on September 21, 2009. The critically acclaimed first season's run of 23 episodes garnered an average of 14.3 million viewers in the United States, receiving the highest rating for any NBC drama premiere in five years. The second season attracted an average of 13.1 million viewers in the U.S., and marked NBC's sole series among the top 20 ranked programs in total viewership for the 2007–2008 season. Heroes has garnered a number of awards and nominations,
A digital-internet extension of the series, Heroes 360 Experience, later rebranded as Heroes Evolutions, was created to explore the Heroes universe and provides insight into the show's mythology.

-HOUSE: is an American television medical drama that debuted on the Fox network on November 16, 2004. The show's central character is Dr. Gregory House , an unconventional medical genius who heads a team of diagnosticians in New Jersey. The character has similarities to Sherlock Holmes: both are forensic geniuses, musicians, drug users, aloof, and largely friendless.
Dr. House often clashes with his boss, hospital administrator and Dean of Medicine, and his diagnostic team, because many of his hypotheses about patients' illnesses are based on subtle or controversial insights. House's only true friend is Dr. James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), head of the Department of Oncology.
House is critically acclaimed and has high viewership ratings. It was among the top ten rated shows in the United States from its second through its fourth season; in the 2008–09 season, it fell to nineteenth overall. Distributed to 66 countries, House was the most watched television program in the world in 2008. The show has received several awards.

-LOST: is an American serial drama television series. It follows the lives of plane crash survivors on a mysterious tropical island, after a commercial passenger jet flying between Sydney, Australia, and Los Angeles, United States, crashes somewhere in the South Pacific. Each episode typically features a primary storyline on the island as well as a secondary storyline from another point in a character's life, though other time-related plot devices change this formula in later episodes. The pilot episode was first broadcast on September 22, 2004, and since then five full seasons have aired. The show airs on the ABC Network in the United States, as well as on regional networks in many other countries.
Due to its large cast and the cost of filming the series is one of the most expensive on television. Critically acclaimed and a popular success, Lost garnered an average of 16 million viewers per episode on ABC during its first year. It has won numerous industry awards. Reflecting its devoted fan base, the series has become a part of American popular culture.

-THE SOPRANOS: is an American television drama series. It premiered on premium cable network HBO in the United States on January 10, 1999 and ended its original run of six seasons and 86 episodes on June 10, 2007. The series revolves around mobster Tony Soprano and the difficulties he faces as he tries to balance the often conflicting requirements of his home life and the criminal organization he heads.
A major commercial and critical success, The Sopranos is the most financially successful cable series in the history of television and is acknowledged as one of the greatest television series of all time and a seminal dramatic production. The series is noted for its high level of quality in every aspect of production and is particularly recognized for its writing and the performances of its lead actors. The show is credited with bringing a greater level of artistry to the television medium and paving the way for many successful drama series that followed. It also won numerous awards, .

-PRISON BREAK: The series revolves around two brothers; one has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison.
The series was originally turned down by Fox in 2003, which was concerned about the long-term prospects of such a series. Following the popularity of serialized prime time television series Lost and 24, Fox decided to back production in 2004. The first season received generally positive reviews, and performed well in the ratings. The series has been aired internationally.
The success of the series has inspired short videos for mobile phones, several official tie-ins in print and on the Internet, as well as a video game currently in development.

-DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE: The setting of the show is the street of Wisteria Lane in the fictional American town of Fairview in the Eagle State. It follows the lives of a group of women, seen through the eyes of their dead neighbor. They work through domestic struggles and family life, while facing the secrets, crimes and mysteries hidden behind the doors of their—at the surface—beautiful and seemingly perfect suburban neighborhood.
Since its premiere on ABC on October 3, 2004, the show has been well received by the critics as well as the audience. The show is a multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award winner, and in April 2007 it was reported to be the most popular show in its demographic worldwide, with an audience of approximately 120 million.

-TRUE BLOOD: It is based on the The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris. It is produced by HBO in association with Ball's production company and Your Face Goes Here Entertainment. It premiered on September 7, 2008.
True Blood details the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional small Louisiana town. The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress at a bar, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton. The first season received critical acclaim and won several awards.

-SIX FEET UNDER: The show revolves around members of the Fisher family, who run their funeral home in Los Angeles, and their friends and lovers. The series traces these characters' lives over the course of five years. Six Feet Under received widespread critical acclaim, particularly for its writing and acting, and consistently drew high ratings for the HBO network. Six Feet Under has frequently been described by critics as one of the greatest television series of all time. The series is noted for its exploration of mortality and death in western society. It won numerous awards. It also generated controversy for its graphical depiction of sexuality and some of the themes it addressed

-DEXTER: Set in Miami, the series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a covert serial killer governed by a strict moral code who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst.
The show is based on characters created by Jeff Lindsay for his series of Dexter novels. It was adapted for television by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter James Manos, Jr., who wrote the pilot episode.

-24: is the second longest-running espionage series in television history, behind the original Mission: Impossible series by number of episodes and The Avengers by longevity of broadcast. However, after the conclusion of the eighth season, 24 will become the record holder in both these categories. 24 is broadcast in the semblance of real time, with each season depicting a 24-hour period in the life of Jack Bauer, who works with the United States government as it fights fictitious terrorist threats to the United States. Bauer is often in the field for the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit as it tries to safeguard the nation from terrorist threats. The show also follows the actions of other CTU agents, government officials and terrorists associated with the plot

Paranormal activity boom

This will be the first movie that I will watch for the film profile. As I said, it is called Paranormal Activity and has become the most famous film nowadays.

I'm going to put a translated article form spanish to english that speaks better about the movie than me (because I didn't see it).

Paranormal activity (première in Spain 27.11.09), it rules in the American box-office with only 11.000 dolars of budget. Is very easy to compare it with another Hollywood movies on this year. In fact, Paranormal activity, would be closer of sociological phenomens like The Project of The Blair Witch and his ingenious campaign with 240 milions on the box-office. Like this one, it has been sold thanks to an ultra ingenious campaign where reality and fiction mingle played, with the addition of having the resources of the Internet.

Distributed by Paramount; when his executives undestood that it will be a hit, the Oren Peli's movie (scrip writer, producer and director), create the necessity of explote the genre.
It is not a marterpiece like Nosferato or Dracula but his youth appearance and his lack of money, is a plus.

The movie, set in San Diego, tells the story of a couple that is visited by ghosts. She was accustomed to contact with them since her childhood. She will contemplate worried, how her boyfriend buys a camera to find out what happens at night with the ghosts but the spirit gets angry.

With this information, without gallons of blood, billionaires effects or computer-animated creatures, with a few tricks, very cheap, Paranormal Activity provides good entertainment and good scares locked for some viewers, tired of the worn pattern of terror without indents and paraphernalia without soul or sense.

Chinese

I'm trying to learn chinese in the official school of languages of Castellón but it is so difficult. First was the realy strange pronunciation and then the characteristic characters.
If you want to learn it you must study a lot and have a good memory for the characters and how to draw it and in what order.
Well, I should go on with my chinese homework.

Wish me luck!
